Vegan French Toast Recipe
Active time N / A total time 45 minutes Serves yield: 6 pieces by Anna Painter
For our vegetarian French toast, we put almond cream, flour, ground flakes, maple syrup and brown sugar in rich, thick batter instead of plain milk and eggs throughout the day. The interior of this French toast is not as concealed as the conventional kind, but the bata creates a sweet, golden-brown crust that we love. We top our vegetarian French toast with lots of maple syrup and chopped bananas but it’s equally good with fresh berries or your favorite jam
